Welcome (back) Rams!

Hello Rams! Although summer is coming to a close, we are so happy to see you all on campus. Whether you are a first-year student, a transfer student, an international student, or a returning student, Off-Campus Life is here for you as you start the fall semester of 2023.

Our office runs a variety of programs designed to help students, and as the school year ramps up, we want to be sure you are aware of these and reach out whenever you need them. Some of our programs include:

· RamRide à our safe-ride program runs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights where you can get a free safe ride from students during the hours of 10 pm to 3 am.

· Party Reg à our party registration program that is 98% citation-free.

· Housing resources à our office website has a variety of housing resources, including Rental Search, Roommate Meet and Match, and more. Or you can come into our office, and we can help you find short-term housing, help you sort out problems with your landlord, and help find viable off-campus housing.

· Food Ops à our partnership with Rams Against Hunger allows us to deliver boxes of food to students every Friday once they register online.

· Locker rental à you can rent out a locker in the LSC online in various sizes for a whole semester to keep your belongings close.

We also run a variety of other programs such as Community Welcome, Shovel Snowdown, Fall Clean Up, and Housing Fair, so make sure to keep an eye out for these events as they occur throughout the year. They can be a great opportunity for volunteering or for showing up and learning more about what can help you succeed as a student.

Our office and staff will be here throughout orientation, as you are moving in, starting classes, partying it up, and after you graduate. Don’t hesitate to walk in. To the incoming students, welcome! And to the returning students, welcome back. 🙂
