UTILITY PAYMENT ASSISTANCE FOR CSU STUDENTS, FACULTY
Behind on your utility payments? We can help! The CSU CARES Program and Student Case Management have partnered with Energy Outreach Colorado to support CSU Affiliates (Students, Staff, & Faculty) struggling to make utility payments.
Program Eligibility
- Colorado Gross Household Income at or below 80% of area median income (AMI)
- Past due/prior balance on utility bill or low/no bulk fuel (coal, firewood, kerosene, propane, oil, or pellets).
- Applicant lives at service address on the bill
- If applicant is not account holder, must have proof they are responsible for the bill
Households may receive assistance once per program year with up to two energy sources (Program year October 1st to September 30)

City of Fort Collins Payment Assistance Fund – The City of Fort Collins offers residential assistance with past due electric or water bills. Apply through the following community partner agencies:
- Catholic Charities Larimer County
- La Familia/The Family Center
- Discover Goodwill (1-888-775-5327, ext. 7)
