RamRide Food Ops

Food Ops Blog

One of our programs called Food Ops is a free food delivery system that runs throughout the school year. It’s extremely useful to those who need access to a food pantry but cannot transport themselves or the food on their own. Although Food Ops does not run during the summer, this coming fall it will be in full swing. This program runs through RamRide and partners with CSU’s Rams Against Hunger to deliver boxes of free food to on and off campus students, faculty, and staff in Fort Collins.

If you need this service, you can apply on our website: https://ramride.colostate.edu/food-ops-request-a-box/. Whether you need a box one time or if you need regular service, you can get access to our deliveries. Our application only takes 2-3 minutes to complete, and it must be completed the Wednesday before the delivery date. We deliver on Fridays and the boxes will be delivered from around 2:30-4:00 pm. As you apply, you can choose your preference for a box and what kind of food you would like.

The Rams Against Hunger Food Pantry is also open throughout the school year, so if you have the ability to transport yourself, we highly encourage you to check out that service. Additionally, the pantry is open for select hours over the summer, so if you are in need, feel free to pay them a visit. The summer 2024 hours are:

  • Mondays 3 pm – 6 pm
  • Tuesdays 9 am – 12 pm
  • Wednesdays 3 pm – 6 pm
