It’s that time of year again! The 40th annual Housing Fair is taking place on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, from 9am-4pm in the LSC Grand Ballrooms. And this time, we are celebrating the eras of housing in Fort Collins. During this event, apartment complexes, property managers, and other companies will come to the Lory Student Center to set up booths where students can come in and speak to a representative about their property. It is a one-stop shop for housing in Fort Collins and provides a ton of information about off-campus living for the upcoming year. If you are unsure about where to start when looking for housing, this is a great event to attend. You can choose to stop at one booth or stop at them all and come in and out throughout the day whenever works best for you. Off-Campus Life will also be there for any other resources you may need such as Rentalsearch, Locker Rental, and Party Registration.
To get the most out of this event, you may want to do a little bit of prep before stopping by. Considering your budget, how many/what type of roommate you want, what type of housing would be best for you, and location may help narrow down your search and make it less overwhelming. Also, before you sign a lease, it is important to understand what you are signing. If you need help looking over your lease, Student Legal Services is a great place to go where they can explain the requirements of the lease.
At the Housing Fair, there will also be prizes you can win at most booths, and swag from different complexes. It is definitely worth stopping by whenever you can on February 5th! We hope to see you there!
