ON-CAMPUS RESOURCES

Transit To/From and Connecting on Campus:  CSU Parking & Transportation Services and ASCSU partner to provide transit service to all students and university employees. Your RamCard is all you need to board a Transfort bus or MAX in Fort Collins.

Campus Transit Center:  Located at the north end of the Lory Student Center with connections to most routes in Fort Collins.

Around the Horn:  A free cross-campus shuttle system designed to help CSU students, faculty, staff, and guests get across campus conveniently and quickly. The shuttle runs every ten minutes from 7 a.m.-6:40 p.m. during the academic year, and every 30 minutes during the summer. Around the Horn provides access to University Station, which supports the city of Fort Collins MAX rapid transit buses.

Foothills Shuttle:  Use Route 2 or 32 (both pickup at the CSU Transit Center) to connect to the Foothills Shuttle at Elizabeth and Overland Trail. The Foothills Shuttle runs in a loop and serves the northern (Laporte) and southern (Rampart) buildings of the CSU Foothills campus.

RamRide x Lyft – This program offers free Lyft rides (up to $12) anywhere in the country during specified times/select days of the year.  

RamRide Secure – Students experiencing a short-term transportation insecurity can apply for $12 Lyft ride credits. This program is built for students who rely on their vehicle for transportation but are experiencing transportation insecurity due to their car breaking down (or some other incident) and need to use Lyft to get to/from work/school.

RamRide Food Ops – RamRide volunteers will deliver boxes of free food from the CSU Mobile Food Pantry (Rams Against Hunger) to on- and off-campus students, faculty, and staff.  Visit their site for details or email RamRide Food Ops with questions.

BUSTANG:  CSU to Denver Union Station.

FLEX:  A Northern Colorado regional bus route serving stops between Fort Collins along the MAX guideway to Loveland, Berthoud, Longmont, and Boulder.

Poudre Express:  A dedicated commuter bus line that travels from CSU to Windsor, Greeley, and the University of Northern Colorado.

Airport Shuttles:  Options for CSU students to get to and from DIA.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES

TRANSFORT:   The City of Fort Collins mass transit service. Due to Covid-19, the Downtown and South Transit Centers are closed to the public. Fares are temporarily suspended and Transfort has implemented temporary service levels – Route Information Here.

  • MAX Bus Rapid Transit Service – A dedicated transit-only line running north and south (parallel to the BNSF Railway) linking with other Transfort bus routes, Park-n-Rides, the City’s bicycle/pedestrian trail system, and other local and regional transit routes to provide seamless service for passengers. It is served by 12 stations and stops.
  • Taxis Services Available on Suspended Routes – Call (970) 225-4831 to schedule a trip.
  • Dial-A-Ride Paratransit – Door-to-door service for individuals who, because of a disability, are prevented from using Transfort’s fixed route system.  For Dial-a-Ride reservations and eligibility questions, please call (970) 224-6066.

Spin Access:  A pre-paid Ride Pass Subscription that allows you to utilize Bird vehicles at a discounted rate. Community pricing option for low-income riders who are enrolled or eligible for a government assistance program which offers five 30-minute rides per day for only $5 a month.
