FoCo Meal Options for Fall Break and Thanksgiving

Hey CSU community! As we gear up for Fall Break here at CSU, we want to make sure that individuals staying in Fort Collins over the break are aware of their options for Thanksgiving Day meals! 

Rams Against Hunger will be distributing turkeys this Friday, Nov. 19th in the lobby of the LSC Theatre from 10:30-1:00. The turkeys are from the Food Bank Larimer County.

 

As for students within the resident halls, all dining centers close Friday, November 19 at 2 p.m. and open up again on Sunday, November 28 at 5 p.m. However, the Ram’s Horn Dining Center will remain open for those staying over Fall Break. 

Ram’s Horn Dining Center Fall Break Hours:

7 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

11 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.

5 p.m.- 7 p.m.

 

FoCo Café will be celebrating its 7th year feeding the community on Thanksgiving. The café boasts opportunities for dine-in service from 11-2 or meal pickup from 10-12. They allow individuals to volunteer to pay forward the cost of a meal from them.

Registration for pre-order will end 11/23.

 

Additionally, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps, allows eligible low-income individuals and families to expand their food budget.

The Fort Collins Rescue Mission provides meals 365 days a year, including Thanksgiving! They provide a Thanksgiving meal with all of the trimmings for community members in need.
