Colorado State University (CSU) Off-Campus Life has partnered with Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N), a non-profit housing resource organization. This new partnership will provide housing counseling services to CSU faculty and staff experiencing a variety of housing issues, particularly those experiencing barriers to stable housing. One-one-one sessions include Housing Information Session, Rental Housing Search Assistance, HomeShare (a matching service between renters and homeowners), Emergency Rent Assistance, and First Month’s Rent Assistance. The N2N Housing Solutions Coordinator will also serve as an access point for homeownership programs such Homebuyer Education, Home Purchase Advising, Foreclosure Prevention Counseling and Reverse Mortgage Counseling.

Housing Information Session: The Housing Information Session is available to work directly with a housing counselor regarding a range of housing issues. This session may cover a variety of topics related to rental property and includes information about lease agreements, the costs associated with renting and landlord/tenant responsibilities as well as examining homeownership possibilities. This session provides staff and faculty with the area resources available and tools that they need to navigate their rental situation and explore their options as a renter or potential homeowner. Housing Search Assistance: Neighbor to Neighbor provides this assistance to individuals and families striving to find a rental to call home. Emergency Rent Assistance: Our housing counselor will sit down with you face-to-face to develop a plan to overcome your immediate housing crisis and continue your journey toward housing stability. For further information click here.
First Month's Rent Assistance: First Month’s Rent Assistance helps CSU staff and faculty households facing barriers to stable housing to attain affordable, sustainable housing. N2N may be able to assist with up to $500 toward your first month’s rent. For further information click here.
